Note For Anyone Writing About Me

Guide to Writing About Me

I am an Autistic person, not a person with autism. I am also not Aspergers. The diagnosis isn't even in the DSM anymore, and yes, I agree with the consolidation of all autistic spectrum stuff under one umbrella. I have other issues with the DSM.

I don't like Autism Speaks. I'm Disabled, not differently abled, and I am an Autistic activist. Self-advocate is true, but incomplete.

Stats? What Stats?

Sorry everyone. Looks like my stats have decided to go mostly missing. All time page views has been set back to 0 (well, 4 now because people read it tonight) and the stats page says that all my posts have all time views of 0. The posts page still has everything, though, at least for all time views. So, since I'd like to keep this available, here's the top 10 posts by all time views:

  1.  Functioning Labels-304 views and a translation into Chinese.
  2. A Person With-207 views
  3. Just Imagine For a Moment-162 views
  4. Advice to the Parents-174 views
  5. It's Not An Isolated Incident-151 views
  6. My Open Letter To Playboy- 128 views
  7. Autism And Being Something Other Than Cisgendered-99 views
  8. Why Yes, I DO Flap My Hands. Deal With It-92 views
  9. My Decision, Not Yours-89 views
  10. Yes, That Too to "I Wish I Didn't Have Aspergers:" #AutismPositivity2012-73 views
Heads up that many of these posts have trigger warnings. If it does, it's on the post itself.
